An important issue was discussed Wednesday morning during the second Annual Serve. Honor. Support. Symposiumn at Nazareth College.

Representative Louise Slaughter was among the guests who stressed the necessity of helping both men and women veterans who have experienced military sexual trauma. Slaughter said the epidemic of sexual assault has plagued the military for too long.

"I had the first hearing on sexual assault in the military in 1993...it's been a real uphill battle for us," said Representative Slaughter.

The symposium was organized by CDS Monarch, through their "Warrior Salute" service and Nazareth College. WROC is a proud sponsor of this event and our own Kevin Doran served as a moderator.
