New York State has awarded CDS Monarch, which is based in Webster, grant funding of $100,000 for Warrior Salute, a service of CDS Monarch, which helps veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) to successfully transition back into their community.

The funding was included in the New York State budget for 2013-2014, as part of the Department of Mental Hygiene, Office of Mental Health, Aid to Localities section (S. 2603E).

New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio and New York State Senator Joe Robach were key in helping to restore funding to the Office of Mental Health budget, which made it possible for CDS Monarch to receive this grant.
