CDS Monarch’s Warrior Salute program, which helps veterans with traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder, has been awarded a $100,000 grant by the state to continue the program.

The funds were approved by the state Legislature as part of the recent state budget agreement. CDS Monarch, located in Webster, serves veterans, seniors and disabled.

CDS Monarch sought the grant to help fund health care and treatment for veterans enrolled in the Warrior Salute program.

These services include mental health counseling, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing services, medical appointment support and transportation and emergency services.
