It’s move-in day for a dozen local veterans who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. Thanks to the community’s support, the house opened Friday and the veterans are moving in.

It’s called the Nucor House. It is named after the community that made it all possible. It’s a result of six months of the community’s donations of time, money and labor. CDS Monarch rehabilitated the rundown 14 bedroom house and Friday was move-in day.
