Webster, NY – On Monday, July 11th the CDS Foundation hosted the 24th Annual "Teeing Off for Abilities" Golf Tournament at Locust Hill Country Club, presented this year by Relph Benefit Advisors and the Supreme Group. Proceeds from the event benefited the Warrior SALUTE™ Program.

Warrior SALUTE™ helps service members and their families regain their lives and dreams by providing quality employment opportunities, as well as clinical and rehabilitative services. This program is 100% funded by donations, which allows our veterans with service-connected brain injuries (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to transition back to civilian life through physical and occupational therapy, vocational training and job placement assistance, resume preparation and employment counseling, independent living skills training, individual and group counseling, art and music therapy, and temporary housing.  For more information on CDS’ Warrior SALUTE™ Program, please visit www.cdswarriorsalute.org

The CDS Foundation exceeded its goal, and raised a total of $86,000 for the Warrior SALUTE™ Program!

“I would like to thank the CDS Foundation and all of our event sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers for helping to raise money for the Warrior SALUTE™ Program, and for helping CDS in its mission to support injured service members,” stated Sankar Sewnauth, CDS President/CEO.  “You have all made a tremendous difference in the lives of Veterans.”

150 golfers came out to support the CDS mission. The morning started with a flag ceremony presented by the local Army Recruiting Center and the National Anthem was sung by Alysia Groth, a local singer and Veteran. Participants from the Warrior SALUTE™ Program, also shared their stories and explained how the program had benefited them and their families.  There was also a Hole in One shot made on Hole #15 during tournament play.
